- $150,000 - $210,000/year

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of contract surety underwriting experience, preferably with large contract accounts.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and construction industry dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Strong decision-making skills with a results-driven approach.
- Underwrite and manage a portfolio of large contract surety accounts, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and risk appetite.
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to assess risk and make informed underwriting decisions.
- Evaluate contractors’ financial strength, management capabilities, and operational history to determine surety bond eligibility.
- Collaborate with brokers, agents, and internal stakeholders to structure competitive and profitable surety bond programs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry players, including brokers, agents, and construction firms.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes affecting the surety business.
Salary : $150,000 - $210,000
