Job Description
Our client is currently seeking to add a New York Workers Compensation Claims Supervisor that would be Hybrid, 2 days a week in Long Island, NY. This role will manage a team of Workers Compensation Claims Examiners, handling NY lost-time claims from inception to close. ideal candidates will possess an active New York Adjuster’s License.
Manage a team of Lost-time workers compensation claims
Research and formulate a basis on which coverage decisions will be made, conduct thorough investigations, manage medical treatment, influence early full return-to-work, guide litigation and control claim outcomes.
Approval reserves and settlement
Responsibilities also include active file management, effective reserving practices, participation in training activities, presentation of serious claims to committee and supervision of litigated files.
Consistently exhibit a high level of customer service and adherence to department Best Practices.

Requirements
2 or more years of Workers' Compensation claim supervisory experience
New York Adjusters license required
Experience handling lost-time claim for New York's jurisdiction
