Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients.
- Provide consistent, accurate, and timely communication through verbal and written correspondence.
- Conduct meetings with clients to understand their unique needs and address any concerns.
- Provide expert guidance to clients by offering tailored insurance solutions.
- Inform and educate clients about coverage, exclusions, and potential exposures.
- Utilize agency-specific software for processing all client transactions and maintaining accurate records.
- Work closely with underwriters to negotiate and secure favorable terms and pricing for clients.
- Create proposals, prepare applications, and bind coverage for clients.
- Process new and renewal policies, ensuring accuracy in issuance.
- Handle endorsement requests efficiently, whether through carriers' online systems or by submitting endorsements to the insurance company.
- Manage policy renewals, ensuring clients remain adequately covered.
- Document all client interactions, conversations, and important details within the agency management system.
- Manage billing-related tasks, including setting up billing plans, resolving billing issues, and processing payments.
- Prepare agency-bill invoices when necessary and diligently follow up on client payments.
- Process Evidences of Insurance accurately and within established timelines.
- Report new claims promptly and assist clients throughout the claims process, ensuring a smooth experience.
- Handle policy cancellations in accordance with company guidelines while making every effort to retain clients and save accounts.
- Demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to take on other relevant duties assigned to contribute to the agency's overall success.
- Knowledge and understanding of various insurance coverages, policies, and terms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to convey complex insurance information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
- Keen attention to detail when reviewing policies and documents.
- Ability to analyze complex insurance situations and propose effective solutions.
- Preferred Agency Management System experience: AMS360
- Holds an active Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License.
- 2-5 years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred.
- Previous experience in personal lines insurance and account management preferred.
- Previous broker experience needed.

- Between $55K-$65K, depending on experience.
