Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of personal insurance accounts, including processing new policies, renewals, and endorsements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide suitable coverage options
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes and bind coverage for clients
- Advise clients on policy coverage, terms, and conditions, and provide assistance with claims processes
- Stay updated on industry trends, insurance products, and regulations to provide informed advice to clients
- Address client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and efficient processing of policies and renewals
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role in the insurance industry
- In-depth knowledge of personal insurance products, coverage options, and underwriting guidelines
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in insurance agency management systems (e.g., AMS360, Applied Epic)
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license required
- Previous E&S experience is required
- Previous experience with non-admitted carriers required
- Previous experience with California Fair Plan required
- Compensation: Between $75k-$90k (based on experience).
