Key Responsibilities
- Client Interaction: Respond to client inquiries regarding personal lines insurance products, including home, auto, renters, and umbrella policies.
- Policy Maintenance: Assist in policy changes, renewals, and endorsements, ensuring all necessary documentation is processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Quote Generation: Provide quotes for personal lines insurance policies based on customer needs and requirements.
- Claims Support: Assist clients with the claims process by providing guidance, submitting claims, and following up on status updates.
- Document Management: Maintain accurate client records and documentation using our agency management system.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer issues, complaints, or concerns in a professional manner while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Cross-Selling & Upselling: Identify opportunities for additional coverage and promote products that meet customer needs.
- Compliance: Ensure all customer interactions and processes comply with company policies, state regulations, and industry standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure effective communication and efficient service delivery.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service or personal lines insurance is preferred.
- Licensing: Insurance license in property and casualty (preferred, or must be willing to obtain).
- Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of customer inquiries.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance management software.
