Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Personal Lines Customer Service Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, managing their accounts, and handling inquiries regarding insurance policies and claims. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients' insurance needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely and courteous manner
• Manage and maintain client accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information
• Provide information and advice to clients regarding insurance policies, coverage, and claims processes
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling/cross-selling insurance products
• Process policy changes, renewals, and cancellations as required
• Assist with resolving billing issues and claims processing, escalating to the appropriate department as needed
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, product knowledge, and underwriting guidelines
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements

• Proven experience as an Account Manager or Customer Service Representative in the insurance industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of personal lines insurance products and industry practices
• Proficiency in using agency management software and Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining client satisfaction
• Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) License
