As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with commercial insurance clients, providing strategic risk management solutions, achieving sales targets, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to team development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the client base and grow revenue within the commercial insurance sector
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their unique insurance needs and providing tailored solutions
- Collaborate with underwriters, claims specialists, and risk management team to deliver comprehensive insurance programs for clients
- Conduct regular client meetings and presentations to review coverage, claims experience, and upcoming renewals
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to provide informed recommendations to clients
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and other relevant documentation to clients and leadership team
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance, support, and knowledge sharing
- Contribute to team development through sharing best practices, providing training opportunities, and fostering a collaborative team environment
- At least 5 years of experience as an Account Executive or similar role within the commercial insurance industry
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, underwriting processes, and risk management principles
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Applied EPIC software and Microsoft Office Suite
- An active P&C (Property and Casualty) License is required
- Previous client-facing experience is required
- Previous experience delivering presentations is required
- A proven track record of consistent job tenure in previous roles is required
- Willingness/ability to travel as needed for client meetings and business engagements
