The Jonus Group is seeking a skilled California Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster to join our TPA client's dynamic team. As a key member of their Claims Department, you will be responsible for managing and investigating California workers' compensation claims, ensuring timely and fair resolutions for all parties involved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and process California workers' compensation claims in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough investigations to determine the validity of claims.
- Collaborate with medical professionals, legal teams, and other stakeholders to gather relevant information.
- Communicate effectively with claimants, employers, and insurance providers to provide updates and address inquiries.
- Negotiate settlements and manage litigation when necessary.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, legal changes, and best practices in workers' compensation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field preferred, but will accept years of experience
- 3 years of experience as a Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster handling California Indemnity claims
- CA certification required; SIP license a plus!
- Strong knowledge of California workers' compensation laws, regulations, and industry practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- $80,000 - $100,000/year based on experience
- Annual bonus potential based on individual performance and company performance
