Responsibilities :

Believe in the ability to positively impact clients' lives, demonstrating empathy and compassion.

Consistently implement client care plans and assessments to provide tailored, high-quality care.

Stay alert to changes in clients' behavior or health, promptly notifying The Journey Ahead Home Care Agency personnel if necessary.

Provide attentive and empathetic care for clients, assisting with personal care tasks, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship.

Proficiency in personal and companion care duties, including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, toileting, and maintaining personal hygiene.

Maintain patient care records and document provided services accurately.

Offer companionship and basic emotional or psychological support.

Exhibit a strong attendance record, showcasing reliability and commitment to the role.

Clock in and out of every shift accurately using the appropriate systems.

Ensure clients' safety, security, and dignity in a comfortable environment.

Qualifications & Requirements :

Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards.

Caring and compassionate personality.

Pre-Employment Physical Clearance.

Tuberculosis Test.

BLS or CPR Certification.

First Aid Certification.

Proof of automobile insurance.

Reliable transportation (not necessary) and clean driving record.
