The Journey Counseling Services in Kennesaw, GA is excited to announce that we are currently looking for an associate licensed or fully licensed therapist, who is interested in joining our practice on a contractual basis. We specialize in children, adolescents, families, and perinatal women.
Although, we serve clients of all racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds, majority of our clients of color prefer to see a therapist of color, as well. Therapists with experience with children and adolescents, utilizing creative approaches, such as play therapy and other expressive therapy are strongly preferred. Therapist MUST be willing to see some clients (specifically young children) in person.
Preference will be given to a therapist who's fully licensed, see young children below the ages of 13, and willing to be paneled on one or two insurance panels. However, an associate licensed therapist will also be considered.
Although, this is a part time position and some referrals will be provided, you must be willing to participate in actively growing your caseload. This can also lead to a full time position. All applicants must be comfortable working in a diverse, team-oriented environment, with regular consultations, staff meetings, and occasional marketing events, as well as work evenings and/or one day on the weekend.
