What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Infant/Toddler/Preschool Teacher position at The Joyful Jungle Christian Learning Center?
The Joyful Jungle is seeking candidates that are willing to play, teach, and learn. We are looking for those who wish to receive the biggest hugs from the smallest students!
Requirements:
Employees MUST:
- Have availability Monday-Friday 7am-6pm
- Have a High school Diploma or equivalent
- Complete a Background Check
- Complete a TB test
- Have a passion for working with children
- Be at least 18 years of age
Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate!
Responsibilities-
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work in a classroom with children ages 6 wks-5 yrs old
- Ensure the daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards
- Help to maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized
- Develop relationships with coworkers and build lasting relationships with families
- Ensure children are supervised AT ALL TIMES
- Implement potty training & or diaper changing
- Follow along side your Lead Teacher in implementing daily routine and curriculum
- Grow bonds and build trust with your caregiving group
