We are looking for a part time Special Education Support Teacher in our GSRP classroom!
This shift is 8:00am-12:30pm every day Monday-Friday.
Pay is $10.56

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Special Education Support Teacher to join our GSRP classroom team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the lead teacher, associate teacher, and families to support children with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to children with special needs in the GSRP classroom.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to adapt and implement curriculum to meet individual education plans (IEPs).
- Use evidence-based strategies to support children’s social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Monitor and document student progress and share findings with the team and families.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and learning for all students.
- Maintain clear communication with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Assist with classroom management and daily routines.
Qualifications:
- at least 18 years old
- Experience working with children ages 4-5 in an educational setting, particularly in inclusive classrooms.
- Strong knowledge of child development, IEP processes, and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Passionate about supporting children’s unique needs in a collaborative and empathetic manner.
