Job Summary
DNV – Energy Systems is seeking mid-level administrative support from an individual with strong interpersonal and organizational skills to work in the Oak Brook office to assist with the implementation of utility-based distributed generation rebate program. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing rebate payments and invoicing clients monthly with a high degree of accuracy. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments
Program Support:
- Rebate Processing: Accurately process rebate payments, ensuring all calculations and payments are completed in a timely manner.
- Client Invoicing: Prepare and send monthly invoices to clients, ensuring all billing information is correct and up-to-date.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements and reports, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for all transactions.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and other departments to resolve any discrepancies and improve processes.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on rebate processing and client invoicing.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with financial reporting and compliance.
