The Engineer will report directly into & work with the VP of Manufacturing on numerous plant expansion and process efficiency initiatives. Overall, the role is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of efficiency improvement projects across all manufacturing cells and lines. Candidates with experience in High Speed CPG / Food / Beverage / Pharma Processing & Automated Packaging Manufacturing will be ideal. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the manufacturing process, working to optimize existing systems and develop innovative solutions for production needs. Ability to apply Root Cause Analysis, 5Y and / or Kaizen Facilitation to to drive Problem Solving & Process ReliabilityKnowledge of machine guarding and safety practices and standards (OSHA, etc.)Experience or understanding of physics principles for heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid dynamicsExcellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
