What are the responsibilities and job description for the Category Manager position at The Judge Group?
Our client is currently seeking a Senior Category Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Drive growth through the category across several retail clients.
- Will analyze key data to increase growth opportunities.
- Compile and present business insights and analytics and interpret the data to guide marketing strategy
- Identify key metrics and methodology to conduct analysis by category and brand
- Collaborate with Product teams to develop sales forecasts and client delivery schedules
- Will manage relationships with retail partners and share insights and recommendations for category plans
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related area of study
- 4 years of relevant experience in consumer goods (sales, category manager, customer insights, etc.)
- Experience leveraging market data to create new business opportunities
- A background in shelving and assortment insights is required.
- Experience working with planograms / modulars for shelf sets is needed.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Open to some travel as needed
