Communications Consultant
Location: Princeton, NJ (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months
Role: As a Communications Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in consulting on and participating in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Communications. You will contribute to large-scale planning and the resolution of communications challenges, leveraging your solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Consult on and participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Communications.
- Review and analyze communications challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet communications deliverables.
- Collaborate with client personnel in Communications.
- Manage multiple projects, including RFPs, simultaneously and effectively; document the process, report status, resolve problems, and recommend solutions.
- Lead kickoff calls, gathering important information to determine how to best position in response to proposal requests.
- Understand customer/prospect strategic drivers and create compelling messages to highlight as the best-in-class provider.
- Independently edit and recommend enhancements to executive summaries or proposals to address clients' specific needs and desired outcomes.
- Recommend solutions and provide evidence to support ability to meet client expectations while integrating customer insight and storytelling.
- Edit draft proposal responses to highly customize and ensure win themes are consistently addressed throughout the proposal, adding compelling visuals and graphics.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4 years of Public Relations, Media Relations, or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to create compelling messages and storytelling.
- Experience in editing and enhancing executive summaries and proposals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with large-scale planning and resolution of communications challenges.
- Familiarity with RFP processes and proposal management.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements in communications.
Salary : $50 - $55
