Controls Engineer (1079356)

Location: Reading, PA

Salary: $115,000.00 USD Annually - $130,000.00 USD Annually

Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controls Engineer to join our team in Reading, PA. This is a direct hire role that requires strong manufacturing experience. The ideal candidate must be local to the area and hold a Bachelors degree or an Associate degree.

This Job Will Have The Following Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement control systems for manufacturing processes.
• Work with Rockwell products, including Studio5000, FactoryTalk Automation, FactoryTalk View, Asset Centre, and Drives.
• Collaborate with other engineers and departments to ensure seamless integration and operation of control systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and equipment.
• Create and read electrical diagrams in AutoCAD/2D.
• (Preferred) Work with Mitsubishi controllers and robot controls to enhance manufacturing processes.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree or associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.
• Proficient in reading and creating electrical diagrams in AutoCAD/2D.
• Experience with robot controls.
• Experience with Mitsubishi controllers.
• 7 years of experience with Rockwell products
