Distribution Manager - $350 Million Manufacturing Company - East Stroudsburg, PA
We are seeking a Distribution Manager responsible for managing logistics and fulfillment activities across 3 manufacturing and distribution locations in California, Arkansas, and Pennsylvania. You will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless and efficient product flow, exceeding customer expectations, and driving continuous improvement within our supply chain.
Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 base salary Quarterly Bonuses. True Profit Share Bonus. Cost of living increases.

Travel: 15-20% across 3 sites, AR, CA, PA.
Overview:
- Strategic Logistics Planning: Develop and implement robust logistics strategies and processes to guarantee timely and accurate order fulfillment across all locations, consistently meeting or exceeding monthly on-time delivery KPIs.
- Customer Focus: Build and maintain strong customer relationships by proactively communicating delivery schedules, providing timely updates, and ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Effectively lead, mentor, and motivate high-performing logistics teams at each of our three facilities.
- Vendor Management: Cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships with key freight and logistics providers, negotiating competitive rates while upholding the highest standards of service quality.
- Operational Excellence:
- Oversee the scheduling and coordination of all freight pickups and deliveries, ensuring alignment with production schedules and customer requirements.
- Manage the efficient fulfillment of trim and accessory orders, ensuring timely delivery alongside main product shipments.
- Continuously analyze logistics data and identify opportunities for process improvement, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize delays.
- Production Coordination: Collaborate closely with production and sales teams to monitor and update production schedules based on order shipment status.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in logistics management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities with a strong focus on employee development.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated experience in vendor negotiation and relationship management.
- Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems (SAP experience preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions
