Job Description
- A Sr. Equipment Engineering candidate will have a proven track record in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex electrical, mechanical, and 1-off tool failures associated with semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Types of process equipment includes but is not limited to.
- Photolithography and Etching.
- He / she will act as the main point of contact for the Production and Process Engineering teams through direct conversation with engineers, technicians, facilities maintenance technicians and supervisors to identify and fill gaps in current documentation, best known methods (BKM), and parts inventory to assist in the mitigation of extended downtime scenarios related to production tools.
- Must be able to work with Facilities management to effectively identify, source, and secure critical and long lead time, and obsolete spares required to help extend the useful life of production tools.
- Will possess ability to dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to schematics, blueprints, drawings, and operating / repair manuals.
- Will have the ability to manage small projects, train other maintenance staff and work independently at time
- The engineer will develop and implement improvements to enhance reliability, performance and long-term supportability of the process equipment and infrastructur
- Use key tool failure metrics like MTBF and MTTR to analyze and improve periodic maintenance program
- Develop and improve current periodic maintenance documentatio
- Ability to obtain secret clearance.
