Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager to join our team in Axis, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing policies and procedures that ensure the health, safety, and environmental standards of our operations. You will collaborate with various departments to foster a culture of safety and environmental stewardship, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer monthly attendance and safety incentives.
• Support company policies, dress codes, work rules, safety rules, and ethics.
• Assist in the daily operations of the company-wide EH&S program.
• Monitor and document compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend improvements to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare required reports for corporate headquarters.
• Collaborate with management and employees to promote a safety culture and enhance safety awareness.
• Maintain and update the library of safety and environmental documentation as needed.
• Document and monitor prevention training and reporting on accidents and injuries.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate's Degree or 3 years of experience managing an industrial safety program.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree from an ABET-accredited Safety program.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective safety programs and training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must be a team player with strong work ethics.
