Weekly Compensation Breakdown

• Hourly Pay: Rate: $44.00 Total: $1,584.00
• Housing Stipend: $770.00
• Meals and Incidentals: $476.00
• Total Gross Pay: $2,830.00
  

Job Description Within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing:

• Applies the nursing process to patient care.
• Teaches patients and significant others.
• Documents patient care in the medical record.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care effectively.
  
  

Patient Ratios

• MCU: Typically 1:3-4 ratio, primarily 1:4.
• ICU:
• 1:2 or 1:1 depending on patient acuity.
• Overflow: Occasionally 1:3.
  

Specialized Requirements

• Intermediate or progressive care experience needed.
• Must interpret rhythms and cardiac drips.
• Medical ICU with Tele-intensivist support.
• Experience with:
• Radial and groin PCI access/bleed management (sheath pulling not required).
• Temporary pacing (balloon pump or Impella experience preferred but not required).
• Post PCI/STEMI or other cath lab patient care.
  

Requirements

• Experience:
• ICU AND PCU or ICU AND IMCU (both required).
• Must read and interpret rhythms and cardiac drips.
• Cardiac experience required.
• Radial and groin PCI access/bleed management experience required.
• Temporary pacing experience required.
  

Certification Requirements

• ACLS (AHA).
• BLS (AHA).
• NIHSS.
  
  

State License Requirements

• Oregon.
  
  

Additional License Information

• Active license preferred but not required (must be willing to apply).
