Lead Engineering Project Manager (1075823)

Salary: $140,000.00 USD Annually - $150,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Lead Engineering Project Manager. This is a Fully Remote position with 30-40% travel domestically. Candidates with experience managing several million-dollar CAPEX projects within an industry doing Processing / Blending and High Speed Packaging Manufacturing would be preferred. This professional will help lead the corporate engineering team in supporting large capital goals and objectives in a few different plants. This includes leading a group of Capital Projects and supporting the development of long-range project planning & development, project budgeting, cost controls, project scheduling, operational support, etc. The Engineering Manager will support the full life cycle of projects including multiple project phases and develop deliverables over the duration of the project lifecycle

This Job Will Have The Following Responsibilities

• Lead large capital plant projects while following project work process (PWP) with multiple project phases and develop deliverables over the duration of the project lifecycle.
• Support 3rd party engineering, equipment vendors, and contractors.
• Work with Supply Chain and Corporate Engineering teams to develop and maintain environmental stewardship & employee health and safety.
• Long Range Planning: Work with Supply Chain Planning to develop and/or understand long term business goals.
• Visit assigned plants and meet with facility operations to discuss these business goals and understand their business, operational, environmental and safety needs. Review these needs to develop and maintain a ten year, looking forward, plan. Plan to be developed considering return on investment, safety & environmental exposure, logical construction sequencing, rough project cost and a reasonable annual cost allowance.
• Annually review plan with supply chain team, track progress and update maintaining the 3 year “look ahead”. Annual Budget Request Plant Assistance: Work with Supply Chain Planning and plant facility operations utilizing the Long-Range Plan to
• Develop budget estimates for the coming fiscal year.
• Work with engineering team to review, update and maintain engineering standards & best practices. Work with engineering team to update and maintain facility “Core Drawings” which include plant general arrangement drawings, electrical one-line drawings and facility P&ID drawings.
• Primary interactions with be with corporate engineering team, plant leadership, plant maintenance teams and plant operations as project work dictates.
• Engineer will have financial responsibility to manage project spends from 1M to 20( ) M in a fiscal year.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering
• 5-8 years' experience in heavy industrial/process work and project execution.
• Experience in process commercialization focused on process flow, liquid transfer, chemical processing and high speed packaging
• Auto-CAD, SAP, MS programs (including MS Project)
• Blending/packaging equipment mechanical and controls knowledge
• Field implementation knowledge
• Ability to travel 30-40%
