What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians to ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Oversee and prioritize preventive and corrective maintenance for a variety of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose and repair breakdowns on production equipment, minimizing downtime and keeping operations running smoothly.
- Support welding, machining, and other fabrication processes by maintaining machinery critical to production.
- Train, mentor, and develop maintenance staff to improve their technical skills and uphold safety standards.
- Monitor inventory and ensure critical spare parts are available when needed.
- Collaborate with production teams to plan maintenance work that minimizes disruption.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and prepare reports on equipment performance.
- A strong background in maintenance within heavy industrial or fabrication environments.
- Expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with PLCs (preferred) and an ability to troubleshoot control systems.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with prior experience managing maintenance teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with pressure vessel fabrication or similar industries is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training or certifications are a big plus.
- Must be comfortable working in a heavy industrial setting, including physical tasks like climbing, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
