Description: Our client is currently seeking a Manager of Territory Sales. This roles key responsibilities include developing new prospects and interacting with existing customers to increase sales of the organization’s Plastic/Paper product line. This position is a field sales position that requires interfacing with customer contacts at multiple levels in Purchasing, Product Development, Operations, Quality and Marketing at both the distribution and end-user level.
They are looking for someone who is a hunter and will actively work to increase net new sales, but also someone who can manage some large customers in the territory and sell deeper and wider to those accounts. This client would like someone who has experience working with away from home distributors in foodservice (restaurants, hospitals, schools, cafes, and catering businesses, essentially meaning they distribute food to any commercial food service operation where meals are served away from home), janitorial/sanitary, packaging, and healthcare verticals, stadiums, mass transit, amusement parks. To qualify for this position you will need to have experience successfully selling similar plastic or paper consumable products into these kinds of large accounts.
Salary: $100,000-115,000k base
Bonus - 35% potential paid out quarterly based on performance criteria. 80% of the bonus is based on the territory's sales volume and 20% based on EBITA. Your bonus will be guaranteed for the first two quarters while you ramp up.
Location: This position can be located in either Seattle WA, Portland OR, or Denver CO markets.
Work Type: 100% work from home with travel
Travel: Up to 50% travel

This Job Will Have The Following Responsibilities
- Develop new business and increased profitability within the region by driving organic growth,
- Develop plan to execute strategy that provides sustainable organic growth while maintaining vital links to each respective company Division
- Ensure that company’s total offerings, products and services, are represented in a unified manner to deliver the company approach
- Successfully identify solutions you can provide to enable broad account relationships at the mid to high levels while spreading throughout the functional areas of each organization
- Ability to drive business on a regional / national basis where applicable, travel as needed
- Implementation and support of robust commercial processes (CRM) to provide transparency and enable effective communication
- Identify, collaborate and develop key internal resources (Product Management and Commercialization) as required to achieve customer growth goals
- Align key company resource personnel with their customer counterparts to develop deep customer relationships
- Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in the broadline foodservice, janitorial/sanitary supply or in a related area in distribution or manufacturing.
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive and successful Sales experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to work cross-functionally to drive business solutions
- Solid relationship building focus
- Self-starter that is results oriented
- Proficient computer and organizational skills
- Ability to learn new products and technologies
- Effective analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Strong negotiation and business skill sets
- Up to 50% travel
