Our client is seeking a Nurse Practitioner in the Upper Darby, PA area!
Job Details
- Full Time or Part Time Available
- 20-30 hours/week - (3x10's; 9:00AM-7:00PM)
- Every other weekend required (9AM-5PM)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and provide primary care services
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments
- Provide patient education on health promotion and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Provide critical care interventions as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in PA
- Family practice, urgent care, general practice. *URGENT CARE EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
- 3 year experience preferred
- Master's degree in Nursing with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner
- Proficiency in medication administration and knowledge of drug interaction
- Strong clinical skills and ability to perform gastric lavage if necessary
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient care
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
- Experience working in an urgent care setting preferred
- Bilingual preferred
