Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and enforce all safety policies and practices to employees
- Interpret data to continuously improve productivity
- Understand and communicate customer needs to employees to meet expectations
- Participate on formal continuous improvement projects
- Identify equipment, ingredients, and packaging issues
- Coordinate with other departments to solve complex problems
- Maintain areas in compliance with sanitation regulations
- Provide coaching, counseling, conflict resolution, training programs for employees
- Ensure areas are in compliance with 5S requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 10 years of experience in manufacturing
- 5 years of management experience
- Formal lean or continuous improvement experience
- Experience managing salaried direct reports
- Strong employee engagement and employee development experience
- Prefer experience in consumer products, automotive, or food/beverage manufacturing
