Position: Personal Care Assistant (Male)
Location: Chester, PA 19013
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:25 AM – 2:30 PM (7.5-hour schedule, start times may vary)
Contract Term: Guaranteed until the end of the school year
Role Summary: Seeking a Male Personal Care Assistant to provide dedicated 1-on-1 behavioral and academic support for a student. The PCA will assist in implementing educational programs and supporting the student’s special needs (e.g., feeding, toileting, positioning).
Reliable personal transportation (own vehicle) is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities
- Offer direct instruction and aid in areas such as cognitive, motor skills, feeding, self-care, and behavior management, under teacher guidance.
- Maintain a safe, hazard-free learning environment.
- Support hygiene needs, including handwashing, toileting, diapering, and clothing changes.
- Assist with physical development activities, such as lifting, positioning, and using orthopedic equipment.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to track student progress.
- Participate in training for medical and instructional procedures.
- Promote positive behavior policies and aid in social interactions.
- Perform other duties as required.
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Familiarity with basic record-keeping
- Proficient in English (grammar, spelling, vocabulary)
- High School Diploma or GED
- PA Clearances: Child Abuse, Criminal, FBI Fingerprints
- Recent TB test and physical exam
- CPR & First Aid Certification
- Compliance with ACT 24 & ACT 31
