Responsibilities
- Process Development & Optimization: Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. This includes process flow design, equipment selection, tooling design, and process parameter optimization.
- Multi-Site Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and operations teams at different sites to understand their specific needs and challenges, and to implement standardized processes and best practices.
- Process Improvement: Identify and lead process improvement projects, utilizing methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other relevant tools. This includes data analysis, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Standardization: Develop and implement standardized processes, procedures, and documentation across all sites to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Technology Transfer: Facilitate the transfer of new technologies and processes between sites, ensuring smooth implementation and effective training.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support to manufacturing teams at different sites, troubleshooting process issues and providing solutions.
- Project Management: Manage process improvement projects, including planning, execution, and tracking of progress.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all processes comply with relevant safety and environmental regulations.
- Training & Mentoring: Train and mentor local teams on new processes and best practices.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect and analyze process data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and track the effectiveness of implemented changes. Prepare reports on process performance and improvement initiatives.
- Travel: Travel regularly to various company sites (estimated [percentage or frequency] of travel).
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
- 5 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working in a multi-site environment is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and processes.
- Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with teams at different locations.
- Project management experience.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., CAD software, process simulation software, data analysis tools).
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly.
