Process Engineer
Location: Mansfield, TX
Job Description:
The Process Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing process, product, and equipment improvements in the plant. This position interacts with operators, engineers, management, and maintenance. Additionally, this role will coordinate several major engineering projects and process or product improvements in conjunction with Corporate Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in SPC systems development and implementation.
- Develop and update preventative maintenance of molds and machines in conjunction with E&TS and machine suppliers.
- Improve existing operations' products and processes.
- Provide ongoing technical support to plant operations to ensure safety, productivity, quality, and delivery performance.
- Assist plant production and quality assurance in maintaining processes and maximizing machine performance, safety, and quality.
- Evaluate and implement material advances in conjunction with E&TS.
- Assist in component evaluation for new products and new product testing.
- Serve as a resource for mold and equipment repairs.
- Develop standard operating procedures for molding machines and related equipment.
- Oversee new mold and equipment installations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a related position in the molding industry, preferably in packaging manufacturing.
- BS in Mechanical or Plastic Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Plastics Industry.
- Extensive knowledge of the molding process, molding equipment, molding materials, and mold tooling.
- Hands-on project execution.
- Coaching and teaching skills.
- Expertise in process improvement principles.
- Team player with attention to detail.
- Results-oriented with the ability to communicate this necessity to others.
- Ability to react to difficult situations and handle matters professionally.
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary : $90,000 - $130,000
