Our food manufacturing client is currently seeking a Quality Technician
*DAY SHIFT*
*Food or Beverage or CPG Manufacturing experience required*
This job will have the following responsibilities
- Monitor the food safety and quality of the product throughout the manufacturing process
- Maintain, organize, and schedule raw material samples for testing and conduct evaluations
- Perform required quality tests for raw materials and finished products while recording accurate data in a timely manner
- Monitor product weight, codes, labeling, and perform quality control checks and record data
- Ensure the quality of raw materials, in process products and finished goods
- Perform sanitation verification and allergen testing on equipment and other areas required
- Ensure employees are following all food safety and worker safety practices
- Check that testing equipment is accurately calibrated and functioning properly
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma
- Three years of food manufacturing quality control experience
- Knowledge of quality control testing procedures
- Bilingual (English/ Spanish) is a plus
