What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse position at The Judge Group?
Our client is currently seeking a Registered Nurse with Behavioral Health experience!
Length of Contract : 4 months
Hours : 6 : 00 AM to 2 : 00 PM or 10 : 00 PM to 6 : 00 AM
Responsibilities :
- Provide exceptional nursing care to patients in an outpatient behavioral health setting.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Document patient care in electronic health records.
- You will also support clients in completing their activities of daily living (ADLs) for themselves and their children.
- Collaborating with the Medical Director to ensure medication orders are up-to-date, supplies are adequate, discharge prescriptions are written, and medications are dispensed correctly.
- Maintain a schedule of medication evaluations and assist the Program Manager in ensuring compliance with medication and medication room policies and protocols.
- Engaging individuals in Medication-Assisted Treatment or Withdrawal Management services as appropriate.
- Complete nursing assessments and appropriate documentation for incoming clients and assist with referrals to identified services.
- Schedule appointments and ensure attendance and may be required to accompany clients and children as needed.
- Conducting supervised drug screens using a trauma-informed approach. You will also document drug screens, review lab results, and communicate concerns to the clinical and medical team.
