Travel Nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Travel Nurse RN to join our team as a Post Anesthesia Care (PACU) specialist. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a positive impact on patients' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Care for patients recovering from anesthesia in a post-operative setting.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communicate effectively with colleagues.
Requirements:
- RN license with 2 years of recent experience in PACU.
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Schedule Notes:
Monday to Friday, 8 or 10 hour shifts, with varying start times between 5:30AM and 12PM noon. Overtime may be required, but no weekends or call shifts.
