Reservoir Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Reservoir Engineer to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience and expertise in Aries, Access, SEC reserves, acquisition evaluation, and decline curve analysis. This role involves evaluating and optimizing oil and gas assets to maximize recovery and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed reservoir engineering analysis using Aries and Access software.
- Perform SEC reserves evaluations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Evaluate potential acquisitions and assess the value of oil and gas assets.
- Analyze production data and perform decline curve analysis to forecast future production.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize reservoir performance and enhance recovery.
- Collaborate with geologists, production engineers, and other team members to integrate data and insights.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and update databases with relevant reservoir engineering data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in reservoir engineering or a related role.
- Proficiency in Aries and Access software.
- Strong understanding of SEC reserves and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with acquisition evaluation and decline curve analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
