Position Overview: Gulf Coast Medical Center is seeking an experienced Neuro ICU Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role involves managing critical neuro patients in a 2:1 ratio and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to neuro patients in the ICU setting.
• Collaborate with the care team using Epic EMR for documentation and coordination.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety guidelines.
• Float to other sister campuses as needed and integrate seamlessly into different units.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience with neuro specialty (required).
• OR degree accreditation in profile; 5 years of ICU nursing experience required.
• Certifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required).
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (required).
• System Knowledge: Experience with Epic EMR (preferred).
  

Additional Details

• Radius Rule: Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible.
• Floating Requirements: Travelers will be the first to float, possibly to sister campuses.
• RTO/Schedule Requests: Must be submitted during profile submission; no changes will be accepted afterward.
• Demographic Information: Address, email, DOB, SS, and RN license number must be included in the profile submission.
• Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue or White scrubs.
• Culture: Travelers are welcomed and expected to function as core staff members.
