The Judge Group is hiring for a Sanitation Manager at a growing food company located near Omaha. We are looking for a dedicated Sanitation Manager to lead and coordinate activities related to the cleaning and sanitizing of our facility and equipment. This role is essential in maintaining our high standards for food safety and quality, ensuring compliance with all company and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all products meet company quality standards and specifications.
- Complete accurate and thorough documentation.
- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and adhere to food safety and quality standards daily.
- Comply with company policies, including Allergen, Food Defense, and HACCP requirements.
- Communicate any food safety or equipment concerns to supervisors.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and establish effective working relationships.
- Work with supervision and maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition.
- Adhere to safety policies, use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and report unsafe practices or injuries.
- Ensure the plant is cleaned to meet FDA, SQF and QA standards.
- Oversee the Master Sanitation Schedule and train employees on proper sanitation procedures.
- Monitor and improve the quality, safety, and legality of each product and the processes used in manufacturing.
- Lead the sanitation team to meet cleaning schedules and responsibilities.
- Manage chemical usage, supply control, and conduct full sanitation audits.
- Oversee equipment maintenance for GMP compliance.
- Coach, mentor, and train team members to improve performance and ensure safety.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sanitation
- 3 years sanitation management experience
- Knowledge of HACCP, SSOP, and GMP processes.
- Must have intermediate knowledge of Quality Systems.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring others
- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel)
