Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality engineering services based on your knowledge of engineering fundamentals, design codes, and industry standards.
- Collaborate efficiently with project teams, including external partners, to provide value to our clients.
- Take on increasingly complex design tasks with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Support the growth and success of peers and less experienced engineers.
- Identify and evaluate design options during the preliminary phase to guide project team and client decision-making.
- Prepare calculations, edit specifications, and coordinate drawings.
- Review project documents for quality and coordination across all disciplines.
- Communicate with clients and contractors regarding construction RFI's and review shop drawings.
- Perform site visits and observations (up to 10% travel to construction job sites).
- Write proposals and assist in estimating project fees as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering.
- 5 years of experience without PE or 4 years of experience with PE.
