Enterprise Supplier Management Analyst
6-month Contract to Hire
Hybrid: Chicago, IL or Richardson, TX (3 days a week on-site)
$70-$95k salary (depending on experience)
Job Summary: As an Enterprise Supplier Management Analyst, you will manage and improve the performance of mid-tier critical suppliers (Tier 2) to support business needs. You will ensure compliance with contractual obligations, drive supplier performance improvements, and mitigate risks. This role involves supporting team members and leadership in governance activities, including supplier reporting, risk and compliance reporting, and document management.
Responsibilities:
- Execute the Supplier Management Governance Program for Tier 2 suppliers.
- Plan and coordinate annual Strategic Business Reviews with suppliers and our client leaders.
- Monitor market trends, healthcare insights, and best practices from suppliers.
- Conduct and deliver Balanced Scorecard results to suppliers, driving performance improvements.
- Oversee SLA compliance and remediation of missed SLAs.
- Manage SLA penalties and SLC collection.
- Coordinate supplier health reporting and innovation activities.
- Lead monthly governance meetings with suppliers.
- Handle issue management, escalations, and invoice oversight.
- Conduct risk assessments, contingency planning, and compliance support.
- Ensure DR/BCP plans are in place and tested.
- Perform annual contract reviews and location assessments.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Required Qualifications:
- College Degree in Business or Finance, or 4 years of relevant experience.
- 4-6 years of experience in vendor management or procurement.
- Strong analytical, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of vendor management best practices and strategic sourcing principles.
- Experience in project management, vendor negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Business Process Outsourcing or Information Technology Outsourcing.
- Knowledge of the insurance industry.
Salary : $70,000 - $95,000
