This role involves managing and growing sales within a designated territory, building strong relationships with customers, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the assigned territory.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and cold calling.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing excellent customer service.
- Present and demonstrate our products to potential customers, highlighting their benefits and features.
- Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product development.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to align sales efforts with company goals.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to management.
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and events to represent the company and generate leads.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Sales or similar role in the nutraceuticals or ingredients industry.
- Strong understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
