Position: Lead Voice Engineer
Location: Fort Belvoir
Must have secret clearance or higher
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to users globally utilizing Cisco Call Manager 10.5.2 - 11.5 and Cisco Unity 10.5.2 - 11.5.
- Manage and maintain analog fax lines, voicemails, Auto Attendants, phone setup, and alarms/alerts.
- Design and configure user facility IT infrastructure to support voice and video.
- Support the migration of services and servers to enterprise platforms.
- Verify functionality of both physical and virtual servers.
- Maintain, configure, and test Cisco Prime Collaboration Assurance (CPCA) and Cisco Prime Collaboration Provisioning (CPCP).
- Provide technical guidance to installation systems personnel on automated data telecommunications systems, equipment procedures, and techniques.
- Maintain the Voice Network compliancy with applicable DoD, Department of the Army Directives, DISA STIG viewer and report any discrepancies to the applicable system owner in accordance with RNEC procedures.
- Install, troubleshoot, and test all parts of a TDM phone, to include inside outside plant infrastructure to include 300 Area digging permits.
- Troubleshoot and configure CUCM and equipment.
- Provide Tier 1 support to Users Globally utilizing Cisco Call Manager (CM), Cisco Unity.
- Manage and maintain analog fax lines, voicemails, Auto Attendants, phone setup, and alarms/alerts.
- Review and validate understanding of customer design requirements as well as recommended process changes.
- Secret clearance
- IAT-Level II Certificate
- Strong understanding of Cisco VOIP infrastructure
- Experience with Cisco Call Manager 10.5.2 - 11.5 and Cisco Unity 10.5.2 - 11.5
- Knowledge of VoIP protocols such as SIP, MGCP, SCCP, and H.323
- Experience with Cisco Prime Collaboration Assurance (CPCA) and Cisco Prime Collaboration Provisioning (CPCP)
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow and understand technical documents
