Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our restaurant operates smoothly by assisting wait staff and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurants, catering, or hotel settings.

Duties

• Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next customers.
• Assist wait staff with serving food and beverages as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors.
• Help set up and break down dining areas for special events or catering services.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest needs.
• Support overall restaurant operations by helping with various tasks in the kitchen as required.

Skills

• Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
• Ability to clean efficiently and maintain a tidy work environment.
• Experience in catering, hotel, or restaurant settings is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with bussing techniques and kitchen operations is advantageous.
• A willingness to help others and work collaboratively within a team-oriented atmosphere.
