Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and stocked.
- Interact with customers to take drink orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with their selections.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system, including cash register operations.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service.
- Stay informed about menu items, specials, and promotions to effectively communicate with guests.
- Uphold food safety standards in compliance with health regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS experience is a plus) and cash register operations.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and food handling practices within the food industry.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
