Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service
- Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately using a cash register
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Stay updated on current beverage trends and menu offerings
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Knowledge of brewing techniques, cocktail recipes, and mixology is a plus
- Strong math skills, including retail math and basic math calculations for cash handling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail in order to accurately process customer orders and handle cash transactions
- Understanding of food handling safety procedures in compliance with health regulations
