Job Description
Seeking up to 3 individuals with the desire to learn the insurance industry, earn good money, and gain the ability to start their own business within 12 months.
This is our Protege Program :
Guaranteed 12-month pathway to agency ownership with No Collateral Required . Learn while you earn a real paycheck. One-on-one training from mentor agency owner and dedicated support from your own personal Business Coach. Just prove you can sell our products, hit very achievable goals, and graduate with bonus money to open your own Farmers Insurance Agency! Protege Producer may choose to stay with Mentor Agent if both agree and Protege doesn't feel ready to start their own business yet. May decide to do so within 12 months of graduating the Protege Program.

Responsibilities
Requirements
Must be / get licensed in Property, Casualty, Life & Health with the State of Illinois Dept of Insurance to begin the Protege Program. We can guide you through that process.
The candidate will interview with possible Mentor Agents to ensure a good fit and match salary requirements. Many Mentor Agents allow hybrid work schedules and may or may not require Saturdays. That is a conversation between the Mentor Agent and Protege Producer Candidate.
Sales or insurance experience can assist you with getting a fast start, but it is not mandatory. Some of our best producers have come from other industries, so don't be discouraged to apply.
