What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service position at The K and B Auction Company?
K and B Auction Company has an immediate opening for a Front Desk / Customer Service team member. This person will primarily be the 'first contact' for our company and should have excellent telephone and customer service skills. Main duties include answering the telephone, finding solutions and responding quickly to customer inquiries, routine tasks including answering phone, checking phone messages, managing email, filing, weekly mailings, processing payments/refunds, and other assignments as necessary. This person also helps with auction set-up/display of merchandise.
Ideal candidate should have an outgoing and friendly attitude, problem solving skills, be reliable, organized, and focused, be comfortable with computers, possess outstanding communication skills, be detail oriented, confident, motivated, and professional. Position is not strictly sitting at desk; plenty of walking and some light lifting are necessary. Knowledge of the antiques, collectibles, and auction business is preferred.
