What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dozer Operator position at The Kearney Companies, LLC?
Description
We are looking for a few bulldozer operators. We need both finish and rough operators, but experience - actual day-to-day seat time - is required! Pay will be based on your experience and how well you do on a field test. Our operators typically work 50 - 55 hours per week, 10-15 of which is overtime. We offer benefits, including holiday pay, medical, dental and vision insurance after 60 days as well as vacation and 401(k) after 1 year.
Our jobsites can be anywhere within 50 miles away from the office. Meaning we could have jobsites in Zephyrhills, Wesley Chapel, Lakeland, Haines City, Bartow etc. Applicants MUST have valid drivers license and be able to commute to our jobsites.
Requirements:
- Must have verifiable experience operating a bulldozer on a site development or grading crew
- Must be able to pass a field operation test
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
Physical Demands:
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to stand, sit, climb, walk, stand on an ongoing basis, lift 50-75 lbs. spent 95% of time outside.
