Associate Insurance Agent - Outside Sales

We are a family owned and operated insurance agency since 1997. Our goal is to help protect and improve the financial lives of our clients.

The Outside Sales Associate Agent's main goal is to quote and sell appropriate insurance products based on the prospects needs. The outside sales agent will be responsible to find prospects through their own network, cold calling, internet leads, managing their lead pipeline, and internal lists given to them by the agency. The Associate Agent will help customers review their insurance needs and look for opportunities to protect the customer with the Keener agency. This is done in person and over the telephone in our office.

Salary: $30000.00 - $75000.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Review current needs and coverages
• Quote appropriate policies
• Identify opportunities for discounts and unique policy coverages
• Cross sale prospects for other opportunities
• Educate prospects on insurance coverages and provide exceptional customer service
• Onboard newly written customers
• Properly document new business and prospect information to build your future sales pipeline

Requirements

• Dependable and professional
• Following a proven call model and sales process
• Able to work 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri (one hour lunch and two 15 minute breaks)
• Courteous, Passionate, Polite, Absurdly Positive
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment that necessitates multitasking
• Coachable, flexible, and thoughtful
• Capable of meeting monthly sales goals
• P&C Licensed preferred but not required
• A Property and Casualty license is preferred but not required. You may be considered on a temporary basis if you have already scheduled your test. Some experience is preferred but not required. POSITIVITY and PASSION is a must.
