We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Manager/Bookkeeper to oversee financial and administrative operations for our Phoenix based client. This individual will play a key role in managing accounting processes, HR functions, payroll, and office administration. The position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to work collaboratively with both corporate and on-site teams, and a proactive approach to process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, HR, and office management for the Phoenix division.
- Manage and streamline accounting and administrative processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Supervise a small team (HR/Payroll Assistant, Administrative, and Accounts Payable Clerk).
- Serve as the liaison between corporate leadership and the Phoenix location, ensuring seamless communication and financial oversight.
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager and corporate finance team to support business operations.
- Utilize Sage software for financial reporting and automation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial management preferred (willing to train the right candidate).
- Strong management and communication skills, with an emphasis on leadership and team oversight.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction/manufacturing environment and collaborate with diverse personalities.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
