Position Overview:

As the Corporate Controller, you will be a critical member of the finance team, responsible for overseeing the month-end close process, preparing accurate and timely financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional with strong public accounting experience and a proven track record as a Controller in a similar environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Oversee and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to support company growth and compliance.
• Collaborate with the VP of Finance and Executive leadership team to provide strategic financial insights and guidance.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
• Coordinate audits and manage relationships with external auditors and consultants.
• Develop, mentor, and lead the accounting team to enhance overall department performance.
• Support ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as required by the Executive team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA designation preferred
• 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in public accounting
• Proven experience as a Corporate Controller or similar leadership role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in a private equity-backed environment is a plus
