Position Overview:
As the Corporate Controller, you will be a critical member of the finance team, responsible for overseeing the month-end close process, preparing accurate and timely financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional with strong public accounting experience and a proven track record as a Controller in a similar environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to support company growth and compliance.
- Collaborate with the VP of Finance and Executive leadership team to provide strategic financial insights and guidance.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
- Coordinate audits and manage relationships with external auditors and consultants.
- Develop, mentor, and lead the accounting team to enhance overall department performance.
- Support ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as required by the Executive team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation preferred
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in public accounting
- Proven experience as a Corporate Controller or similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in a private equity-backed environment is a plus

Salary : $142,000 - $155,000
