The Kelly Group is looking for qualified Mechanical Insulator candidates for its Decatur, Illinois , location and work in the surrounding area. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience, and experience in grain handling and / or processing environments is a plus.
Limited travel opportunities may be available periodically, with road pay and per diem available when traveling.
This position requires the ability to perform these essential duties :
- Install mechanical installation (including cutouts) on pipes, boilers and other industrial equipment
- Measure, cut and shape insulation materials
- Understand the appropriate use of insulation materials including fiberglass, mineral wool and others
- Utilize proper personal protective equipment as required
- Work safely at heights and in extreme temperatures / harsh environments
