Position Summary
This position is responsible for supervising and scheduling the labor of tank washers. The Supervisor, Wash Rack will also be accountable for the enforcement of all cleaning rack, waste and preventive maintenance to the on-going operations with the terminal's cleaning facility. This position coordinates activities with dispatch to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
Team Members are Responsible For:
- Supervises and schedules labor
- Schedules washes and processes paperwork
- Coordinates activities of the cleaning rack with the dispatchers at the facility
- Assists with cleaning rack training in conjunctions with the Terminal Manager
- Washes, dries, and sanitizes tanks
- Provides adequate inventory of cleaning materials and for cleaning rack productivity
- Manages and maintains the wastewater treatment plant
- Monitors and reports work quality to the Terminal Manager.
- Performs daily cleaning and maintenance of trucks
- Promotes safe work behaviors through the use of safety equipment
- Prepares and completes proper cleaning documentation
- Develops and implements standardized processes and procedures to assure customer's expectations are met. This includes evaluation of current processes and modifying as needed
- Works with vendors
- Maintains all compliance, inspections and other required service of all equipment
- Responsible for the maintenance of cleaning rack documentation as dictated by KAG policy and Federal, State and Local regulations.
- Works with KAG's Environmental Department, responsible for all waste streams to assure the facility is in compliance and the waste water is disposed of as economically as possible.
Team Members Should Have:
- 4 years of experience in tank wash
- Strong work ethic
